FAQs

Do I have to take Beginning Drawing to be able to sign up for Intermediate or Advanced?

No! Feel free to sign up for any session that interests you.

What kind of experience is required for Intermediate and Advanced Drawing?

No specific level of experience is required. Our instructor is flexible and will adjust lessons as needed to accommodate a range of experience levels.

I have my own pencil set. Can I bring it to class?

Yes! Although essential supplies will be provided, you are welcome to bring your own or purchase an optional kit.

Will we be using paint at any point?

No. These sessions are focused on pencil drawing only.

Will any food or refreshments be available?

Bottled water will be provided free of charge. You may also bring in your own coffee, pop, or snacks—or grab something across the street at Fort Thomas Coffee and bring it with you.

Where should I park?

On Saturdays, the U.S. Bank lot (next door) is the most convenient option. You may also find a spot on the street or behind the One Highland Building (Fort Thomas Coffee).

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably, and for Sessions 1 and 2, for warm weather! Although our gallery is equipped with a window air conditioner and a large fan, it does not have central air.
