NEW WORKS

Village Players is committed to supporting new work for the stage. The New Works group, a program of Village Players, meets monthly for cold readings of scripts-in-progress written by local playwrights, with a yearly goal of mounting an original production or staged reading. Both writers and actors are encouraged to attend.

Attendees must be or become members of Village Players  (voting membership is $20 annually; participating membership is free with the option to upgrade to voting membership at any time).

​

Meetings are held monthly on 3rd Thursdays at 7pm.

Bring up to 12 pages of your work-in-progress to be read by those in attendance

OR

join the meeting as a reader to help playwrights refine their scripts
