Building Space Rentals

8 North Center for the Arts has three primary areas that can be available for rentals when they aren't in use for Art Center programming:

• Gallery Level - the middle floor of the Facility, including access to the Judith M Sarakatsannis Gallery of Fine Art, Kitchen (not for cooking), Library Room, Restrooms and Front Lobby. (Note: other building users may require access to the restrooms and lobby on this floor)

  • accessible by the front door

  • restroom available on same floor

  • lovely space for meetings, parties, baby showers, etc.

• Auditorium Level - the top floor of the Facility, including access to the auditorium space, upstairs lobby space, and access to the gallery-level restrooms.

  • capacity: 92​

  • grand piano available

  • access requires steps; restrooms on other floor

• Theatre Level - the lowest floor of the Facility, including access to the Mary & Don Haas Blackbox Theatre, Dressing Rooms, Lobby, Restrooms, and all paths of access between those areas.

  • capacity: 102​

  • full theatrical lighting & sound equipment available

  • restrooms on same floor

Tables, Folding Chairs, Theatre tech and other resources can be included in your rental.

Generally, the cost is $50/day for one area. This rate or other terms can be negotiated in cases of extended term repeated rentals, use of specialized equipment or expertise, etc. Availability will vary. It is suggested that you reach out as early as possible to discuss your plans.
